[27245] Robert Brian Stewart's genealogy at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cousin/html/p407.htm offers: "He married Eschive d'Ibelin, daughter of Baudouin d'Ibelin, Lord of Ramla & Mirabel and Richilde de Beth'san, before 29 October 1175; His 1st. He was able to make peace with his Muslim neighbours, thanks to the struggle that took place among them, after Saladin's death in 1193. He was summoned by the Franks in Cyprus to become king there after the death of his brother Guy in 1194. King of Cyprus between 1194 and 1205. He was crowned as King of Jerusalem, but decided to administer Jerusalem separately and to regard himself as merely its regent, in 1198. He was induced to marry Henry's widow, Queen Isabella I, because the emperor's German advisers were hoping to get the Latin kingdom of Jerusalem (then only a thin strip of the Palestinian coast) as a fief like Cyprus. He married Isabeau I, reine de Jérusale, daughter of Amaury I, roi de Jérusalem and Maria Komnene, in 1198; His ? (widower) Her 4th (widow). King of Jerusalem in Acre, Outremer, between 1198 and 1205. He renewed the treaty with the Muslims in September 1204. He died on 1 April 1205 in Acre, Outremer." [40237] The unverified Stacey Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015 offers: "John Henry was born in 1715 in Maryland. He had [at least] one son with Dorothy Rider. He died on September 13, 1781, at the age of 66." and reports that the DAR recognizes him as a Patriot ancestor. Ancestry.com offers: "Henry Name Meaning - English and French: from a Germanic personal name composed of the elements haim, heim 'home' + ric 'power', 'ruler', introduced to England by the Normans in the form Henri. During the Middle Ages this name became enormously popular in England and was borne by eight kings. Continental forms of the personal name were equally popular throughout Europe (German Heinrich, French Henri, Italian Enrico and Arrigo, Czech Jindrich, etc.). As an American family name, the English form Henry has absorbed patronymics and many other derivatives of this ancient name in continental European languages. (For forms, see Hanks and Hodges 1988.) In the period in which the majority of English surnames were formed, a common English vernacular form of the name was Harry, hence the surnames Harris (southern) and Harrison (northern). Official documents of the period normally used the Latinized form Henricus. In medieval times, English Henry absorbed an originally distinct Old English personal name that had hagan 'hawthorn'. Compare Hain 2 as its first element, and there has also been confusion with Amery. Irish: Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó hInnéirghe 'descendant of Innéirghe', a byname based on éirghe 'arising'. Irish: Anglicized form of Gaelic Mac Éinrí or Mac Einri, patronymics from the personal names Éinrí, Einri, Irish forms of Henry. It is also found as a variant of McEnery."
