[9763] Daniel m. (1) March 18, 1875 Mary Elizabeth Scott (1858-1891) and (2) in 1898 Mrs. Saphronia Jones (d. 1918). Daniel was in Kansas in 1904 and in Oklahoma in 1921 per siblings' obituaries. Daniel and Mary had four childen - only the eldest had children, Charles Garman Daron, b. Dec. 27, 1875, d. May 20, 1941, buried in McPherson Cemetery. "The Democrat-Opinion [McPherson, Kansas]," 28 July 1922," p. 1: "Daniel B. Daron a pioneer resident of the Centennial community died at the home of his son Charles Daron on East Elizabeth St., Sunday morning. Mr. Daron had been in poor health since he suffered a stroke last April, and his mind became affected. He had been a little better and was up town Friday. The family went to church Sunday morning and when they returned they found him laying on the side porch dead, with a gun beside him. He had found the gun in the basement and shot himself. Mr. Daron's death was a great shock to his many friends. He homesteaded near Centennial in 1874. In 1898 he went to Oklahoma where he remained until six years ago when he returned to McPherson and has since made his home with his son."

He was born in Cherryfield, Sept. 9, 1938, the son of the late Nina M. (Grant) and Stanley A. Willey Sr. He worked as a carpenter in his younger years, then went to work for A. L. Stewart & Sons, then later Cherryfield Foods INC. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, and gardening. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 52 years. Allegra (Beal) Willey; five children - Cathy Rolfe and husband Herman of Cherryfield, Lisa Fickett and husband Roger of Stetson, Ken Allan Willey and wife Angel of Cherryfield, Bruce Willey of Cherryfield, and Christopher Willey of Germany; 12 grandchildren - Roger III, Gayle, Bryan, Jennifer, Benjamin, Jessica, Caitlyn, Alexandrea, Cadence, Patrick, Dakota, and Paige; 6 great-grandchildren Nina, Haven, Broxton, Mackenzie, Noah, and Jacob; two sisters - Marilyn Schevenieus and husband Dale of Milbridge, and Janice Rolfe of Cherryfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; also a special friend Darryl Dorr."
