[57280] "The Bangor Daily News [ Bangor, Maine]," 9 September 2024: "Bangor - Ruth E. Tapley, 95, died peacefully and free of pain on August 29, 2024, at a Bangor hospital. She was born on May 16, 1929, in the borough of Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Thomas (Tobias) and Bessie (Borghild Jensen) Egland. Ruth graduated from Jamaica High School and worked as a secretary in New York City. She loved her job and often would take her lunch to Penn Station and watch people coming and going. When visiting with her twin sister in Sedgwick, ME, she met Bob Tapley and soon after would be married. Ruth and Bob made their home in Brewer, ME, but moved to Bob's hometown of Brooklin, ME, upon retiring. Ruth loved gardening and trying new recipes, especially when having company. In later years when she could not do some of the things that she loved, she would spend her days reading and doing her crossword puzzles. Ruth was proud of her Norwegian heritage and would often talk about how glad she was to have been able to visit Norway. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Brewer for many years before becoming a member at Brooklin Baptist Church. Ruth had a strong faith in her heavenly Father and prayed others would know His love and kindness. She prayed daily for her family and those in need. Ruth always wanted to take care of others often sending money to those in need or just giving people a '$20' to treat themselves. Ruth leaves behind her daughter, Lori Edwards and her husband, Danny, of Holden, ME. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Ruth Benson (Jim), Carol Becker, Joel Becker (Pam), Paul Becker (Mary), Steve Egland (Lanie), Margaret DeCamillas (Larry), and Janet Trovato (John). Ruth also leaves behind numerous great-nieces and nephews; and several special friends. Additionally, she is survived by her beloved granddog, Fenway whom she adored as much as he adored her. Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Bob; her parents; sisters, Harriet Becker and Alice Egland; her brother, Stan Egland; sister-in-law, Helen Egland; and brother-in-law, Bob Becker. Special thanks to Beth Spencer, Joel Egland, MaryAnn Lock and Cinda Lacadie who all spent special time with Ruth and took such good care of her. She loved the visits, chats and yummy treats. You all brought a big smile to her face. Also, thanks to St. Joesph's Hospital for the tender care given to her throughout her stay."
[42037] Mathias' information is from the Bassett Family Association at http://www.bassettbranches.org in 2017 which states he is son of Mathias Ellis and Mercy Nye and lists his children.

Bank's history of Martha's Vineyard notes that the name Gallyon (Gallion) was very uncommon in England and may be Scotch. Jane married (1) Thomas Payne, probably a London merchant, who predeceased her. She is said to have returned to England to fight a court case for a large sum of money for her children by him. An unverified posting in One World Tree in Ancestry.com provides her dates and places of birth and death, and her ancestry.
Find A Grave memorial 35470490 offers: "Gov. Thomas Mayhew married (2) Jane (Gallion) Paine, widow of Thomas Paine, London merchant. She died after 1666 but before her husband. They had four children: Hannah Doggett, Bethiah Harlock Way, Mary, & Martha Tupper. (By Linda Mac) Susan's family sheet of Jane Gallion Paine Mayhew: She was married to Thomas Paine, 15 Oct 1620 in Wantane, Bershire, England- they have two children: Jane Paine and Thomas Paine. She was married to Thomas Paine Mayhew, 1634 in Medford, Middlesex, Massachusetts, USA- they have 5 children: Mary Mayhew, Martha Mayhew, Thomas Payne Mayhew, Hannah Mayhew and Bethiah Mayhew."

[45764] His Find A Grave memorial states Robert "eldest known child of Lawrence 8 Elizabeth Leach, was born about 1615 (deposed aged about 58 years, 1 September 1673: one of the two sons of Lawrence Leach granted land in 1639; evidently he who died Manchester, intestate, leaving a relict [perhaps Alice] and two sons before June, 1674."
Files in Ancestry.com in 2013 offer:
WILLIAM MOODY was born 1611 in Ipswich, Suffolk Co. Eng, and died Oct 25, 1673 in Newbury, MA. He married SARAH. He left Southhampton, Apr 10, 1634, on the ship Mary & John, and landed at Boston at the end of May. With 100 others, he removed to Ipswich, MA and remained there for the winter. He was then induced to settle in the new town of Newbury and was admitted as a Freeman May 6, 1635. A Saddler, Furrier & Smith.
An excerpt from "Genealogical and Family History of the State of New Hampshire: A Record of ...," by Ezra S. Stearns, William Frederick: William Moody, the American ancestor and principal progenitor of the Moody name in New England, came from Wales, England, in 1633, wintered in Ipswich in 1634, and removed to Newbury with the first settlers of that town in 1635. Here he was admitted free-man and received a grant of ninety-two acres of land. There is a tradition that he was a blacksmith by trade, and was the first person in New England to adopt the practice of shoeing oxen to enable them to walk on ice. Whether he ever acquired the enviable appellation of 'The learned Blacksmith' is a matter of some doubt, but that he was a generous patron of letters seems evident from the fact that such a large number of his immediate descendants entered the learned professions. William Moody's wife was Sarah, by whom according to the best authority, he had three children, Samuel, Josuah, and Caleb. Caleb Moody married twice and had a large family. He was Representative from Newbury in the General Court of Massachusetts 1677-78, and during the administration of Governor Andros was imprisoned five weeks for having spoken in censure of the course of that tyrannical official.
