Born on March 26, 1922, in Lurgan Towhship, Franklin County, he was a son of the late John K. and Elizabeth E. Wyrick Alleman. He was retired from Shippensburg University, where he worked in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Prince Street United Brethren Church in Shippensburg. He is survived by his wife, Mildred C. Brantner Alleman; a daughter, Carol M.(Mrs. Wayne) Forrester, Chambersburg; three sons, Richard D.(husband of Patricia) Alleman and Galen M.(husband of Denise) Alleman, both of Newburg, and Randall E. (husband of Beth) Alleman, Shippensburg; three sisters, Dorothy Whisler, Shippensburg, and Sara Kipe and Esther Crider Pisle, both of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and seven brothers."
