Born in Wade, Aroostook County, February 15, 1935, she was the daughter of Rubert W. Campbell and Helen M. Philbrook. A 1953 graduate of Lawrence High School, Fairfield, ME, she studied at Eastern Maine General Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed music, playing piano and tenor saxophone. In addition to her family, she loved horses, swimming, ice skating, biking, kayaking, dancing, painting, and the Maine coast. Predeceased by her first husband, Howard I. Brubaker, Wernersville, PA; and her husband, Alonzo H. Hodgdon, Mount Desert, Maine, she is survived by a sister, Terry (Gerald) York, Fairfield, Maine. She has four sons, a stepson and a stepdaughter, David (Debbie) Brubaker and Dennis Brubaker (PA); Jonathan (Libby) Brubaker (FL); and Jerome Brubaker (NY); Steve Hodgdon and Pat (Danny) Turner, (ME). She has six grandchildren and one step-grandchild, as well as four great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews." Glenna is daughter of Rubert Warren Campbell (1908-1980) & Helen M. Philbrook (1913-1991; m. 21 November 1932 in Woodland, Aroostook Co., ME).

Philip was a World War II Navy veteran, who also enjoyed playing the guitar, lobster fishing, woodworking, photography and hunting. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Della; son, Alan Foster of Eastport; daughter, Elaine Foster of Standish; brother, Laurence Foster of Midway; grandchildren, Jared Martin of Westburke, Vt., and Tammy Thompson of Standish; four great-grandchildren, Cameron Foster, Alyssa Martin, Tia Martin and Jared Martin Jr.; special niece, Sherry Preston; and cousins, Leamon Chipman and Lester Foster."
