Find A Grave memorial 54049929 offers: "Richard Watts was an inhabitant of Hartford in 1639 and received land 'by courtesie of the town'. His homelot was on the west side of the road from George Steel's to the Great Swamp. On April 8, 1645, his ear mark for cattle was recorded in Hartford. The name of Richard Watts appears on the Founders of Hartford Memorial in the Ancient Burying Ground of Hartford." His wife Elizabeth left a "Will dated Feb. 28, 1665-6 & inventory taken April 17, 1666.
She mentions in her will, family members: Mary Smith in Banbury, Oxfordshire, Eng., George Haines who is blind, Elizabeth Hubbard, Nathaniel Hubbard;
daughters: Hubbard & Browne. According to Ronni Croft, one daughter stayed in England."
