[29699] The LDS Church's unverified Pedigree Resource File (CD 142) states Temperance was of Jamestown/James City, VA, daughter of Thomas Bailey (b. ca. 1590, d. 1619 in Jamestown/James City, VA) and Cecily Reynolds (m. ca. 1616 in Batcomb, Co. Somerset, England). Steven Day wrote in Genforum in 2008: "I have seen reports that the father of Temperance Baley (Bailey) was Thomas Bailey. However, I have seen no source material or sensible indications as to who her father actually was. I have not seen any information on the date of the marriage of Temperance's parents nor the death of her father."
