She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Jonesport, former Sunday school superintendent of the church, and member of the ladies Auxiliary of the church. She was retired from the William Underwood Co. of Jonesport. She is survived by 10 children: George Chandler, West Jonesport, Clifford Chandler, Sr., Orono, Mrs. Verlene Davis, Derry, N.H., Mrs. William Edith-Prescott, Sr., Machiasport, Mrs. Wesley Ora Worcester, Columbia Falls, Harold Chandler, Sr., Jonesport Leo Chandler, Sr., West Jonesport, Mrs. Vernon Elvo Robinson, Sr., Addison, Mrs. Ambrose Sarah Schevenieus, Harrington, and the Rev. Oscar Chandler, Manchester, N.H.; 51 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; three brothers, Capt. John Beal, Capt. Roosevelt Beal and Arlin Beal, all of Jonesport; three sisters, Mrs. Leola Barnes, Mrs. Arnold Phyllis Beal and Mrs. Myron Elva Crowley, all of Jonesport; several nieces, nephews and cousins."
