[4176] John's obituary reports: "He was born April 21, 1930, the son of Ralph and Lorna (Pierce) Paullin Sr. He married Doris Wachtel on Dec. 30, 1948. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in December. John was co-owner of Paullin Milk Cartridge along with his brothers and brother-in-law. He retired in 1995 after hauling milk for over 50 years. He was a member of Lakeville United Methodist Church and a previous member of the Lakefork Cemetery Association. He enjoyed following West Holmes girls and boys basketball teams over the years, playing cards and jigsaw puzzles. He enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips with his wife, making many new friends over the years during their travels. He enjoyed get-togethers with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John was a member of the coffee club that would meet every morning at Mellors Restaurant in Loudonville. He looked forward to these times with his coffee drinking friends."

He was born January 29, 1929, in Dedham, the son of Sherley Young and Cora M. (Johnson) Young. After high school, Bud joined the army and became a radio operator in Japan. After his honorable discharge from the army, he did carpentry before starting Holyoke & Young Concrete Foundations with his brother-in-law, Pete Holyoke. This very respected business turned in to a life-long career. Bud also celebrated more than 50 years as a mason and shriner from the Ralph J. Pollard Lodge, #217 A.F. & A.M. of Orrington, and Anah Shrine Temple. Surviving Bud, are his grandson, Shawn Spratt and his wife, Leianna, who cared for him in his last years; his loving partner, Corrine Sickles; Bud's children, Betty Lapierre (Yvon), Patricia Philbrook (Terry), Sonny Young, and Donna Madison (Rod), along with 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews."
