He was born at West Franklin July 8, 1884, son of Enoch and Eunice (French) Blaisdell. He had been gardner for 19 years at the estate of the late Mrs, Mark Hanna and had been gardener at the estate of Mrs. R. M. Hoe for 20 years. He had also been caretaker at the Seal Harbor Cemetery for three years. Mr Blaisdell was a past officer of the Knights of Pythias at Bernard and was a past member of the Seal Harbor Fire Department. Survivors are his widow, Jennie Blaisdell of Seal Harbor; one son, Heman Blaisdell, Jr. of Seal Harbor; one sister, Mrs. Mina B. Young of Marblehead, Mass.; two grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews."
