He was born July 9, 1943, in Sedgwick, the son of Steven Lindsey and Everetta (Gray) Gomm. He lived in Sedgwick for the majority of his life. He liked fishing and hunting and enjoyed reloading his own ammunition. He was a life member of the Maine Trapping Association. Rodney is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Frances M. (Hutchins) Gray, of Franklin; his cousin, Bessie Jones and her husband, Harry, of Sedgwick; a niece, Tammy Powers and her husband, Douglas, of Stonington. He was predeceased by his parents; and his sister, Donna."

Stella is daughter of Christian Peter Wenum (1867 - 1936) and Matilda Johnson (1863 - 1951). She and Paul had Donald Paul Ritzman (1920 - 1922).
