[59795] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 7 Jully 2025: "Bangor, Maine - Elsie Good Mann, 90, of Bucksport passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, in Bangor, ME. Elsie was born in Bucksport to Bryon and Rachel Colby. She grew up on a farm and enjoyed raising many farm animals that she proudly showed at the county fairs. After graduating from Bucksport High School, she attended UMO. She married her high school sweetheart, James Good, and became a military wife moving away from Maine. She became a widow unexpectedly at a young age and found her way back to Bucksport to be closer to family. Elsie worked initially as a home economics teacher and then was the activities director of Bucksport Senior Center for many years before she retired at the age of 60 to embark on a new adventure marrying her second husband, Robert Mann, and moving to Dexter, ME. In her retirement years, she enjoyed a busy schedule of garden club, literary club, and weekly exercise class at Silver Sneakers. Elsie was the very definition of a 'social butterfly' and would make friends wherever she went. When she found herself a widow for the second time, she kept herself busy with her home and houseplants which she took pride in nurturing and growing. When Alzheimer's disease took away her ability to live safely by herself, she transitioned to Westgate Center where she spent her remaining years in the residential care unit. She enjoyed meeting new friends at Westgate, visiting with her family, and listening to Westgate's music programs and singing along. Elsie's family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Westgate Center that was kind and caring to Elsie from the very beginning to her peaceful transition with Constellation hospice care at the end. Elsie was predeceased by both parents; her sister, Ruth; her first husband, James, and her second husband, Robert. She is survived by her two sons, Terry Good and wife, Dawn, of Bangor, Keith Good and wife, Martha, of Hampden, her daughter, Julie Russell and husband, Cary; granddaughters, Ashley Wright and Haley Baco of Kansas; and her great-granddaughter, Laila Wright."
[37483] This person is from the unverified Meckel Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2014 which states William is son of Waresius de Brockhull, b. 1230, d. 1272 in Hythe, Co., Kent, England. This line requires further study and documentation.

[47176] "History of Fairfield and Perry Counties" compiled by A. A. Graham (1883), pp. 332-333: "MILLER, ALEXANDER, farmer, Liberty township. He was born in Shenandoah county, Virginia, January 13, 1814; the son of Peter and Christiana (Hisey) Miller. He was educated in the common schools of Virginia. He remained with his parents and engaged in farming until he came to Ohio, in 1836. He located in Liberty township and began work at the carpenters' trade, of which he had acquired some knowledge before leaving his native State. In October, 1837, he was married, to Hester, daughter of John Bright. He settled the following year on the place where he still resides; it was then entirely wild, but has since been transformed into a fine improved farm, of two hundred and forty-nine acres, with modern and commodious farm buildings. Mr. and Mrs. Miller are the parents of thirteen children, of whom the following are living: Peter, living upon the family homestead; Harriet, the wife of Henry Smith, of Liberty township; Enoch F., who, also, resides on a part of the home place; Hannah, now Mrs. John Myers, of Indiana; Mary, the wife of Ezra Smith; John H., James P., Ellen and Caroline Augusta, still at home. Mr. Miller and family are members of the Lutheran church. His sons, Peter and Enoch F., were in the One Hundred and Sixtieth O. V. I. during the late war."
