[39601] "The Selinsgrove Times-Tribune, 29 March 1917," p. 1: "After an illness of several years, during which he suffered a constant decline, David A. Herrold, who some years ago was one of the best known engineers on the Pennsylvania Railroad, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. J. H. Gilbert, at Shamokin Dam, Wednesday evening, Mar. 21. Outside of his railroad connections, Herrold was noted chiefly for his skill as a trap shot. He was one of the organizers and most enthusiastic members of the Sunbury and Selinsgrove Gun Club and took part in all their big events. He also shot in many of the leading handicap tournaments in this part of the country and could be counted upon to land with the leaders. The deceased was nearly 41 years of age, having been born on March 26, 1876. He is survived by a daughter, Annie Marie Herrold, who lives at Port Trevorton; his mother, who resides in Shamokin Dam, and the following brothers and sisters: N. E. Herrold, of Sunbury; Chas., of Montgomery; Levi, of Kratzerviile; Mrs. J. H. Gilbert, of Shamokin Dam, and Mrs. J. A. Fisher, of Selinsgrove. He was a member of the B. of L. E., and also of lodge No. 416, Knights of Pythias of Sunbury."

[2674] In 2008 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idwal_Iwrch offers: "Idwal ap Cadwaladr (c. 650-720; reigned from c. 682) (Latin: Ituvellus; English: Judwald), more commonly known as Idwal Iwrch ('Idwal Roebuck'), was an early medieval king of Gwynedd. Following the death of Idwal's father, Cadwaladr Fendigaid, the history of Gwynedd enters into a somewhat hazy period. His nickname of 'Roebuck' suggests a young man of small stature, and the historical record indicates that he was probably not involved in any major, prolonged conflicts with neighboring kingdoms, focusing instead on the domestic situation of Gwynedd. Nonetheless, it was during the time of Idwal's reign that the nearby kingdom of Mercia to the west was growing in power and influence. Idwal may have been involved in a series of raids on Mercian territory carried out by the neighboring Welsh kingdom of Powys during the reign of the Mercian king Coenred. These raids, if they did indeed occur, and if Gwynedd was indeed involved, seem to have been relatively isolated, and did not result in any sort of more organized conflict."
