Born in Lykens, June 1, 1921, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary Holtzman Stuppy. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was retired as a personnel administrator from Fort Indiantown Gap Military Reservation, Annville. Mr. Stuppy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Williamstown; Liberty Hose Company No. 1, Williamstown; Ashlar Lodge 570, F&AM, Lykens; Harrisburg Consistory, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Harrisburg; Zembo Temple; American Legion Post 239, Williamstown, and Disabled American Veterans. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruby E. Smeltz; a son, Frederick A. Jr., Halifax; two daughters, Joan R. Van Orman, Mechanicsburg, and Janice M. Devers, Export; a brother, Richard, Henderson, N.C.; two sisters, Dorothy Jordan and Anna Quinn, both of Lykens."
