He died on 25 October 2022, in Jonesboro, Washington, Maine, United States, at the age of 100, and was buried in Looks Point Cemetery, Washington, Maine, United States." "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 27 October 2022: "Jonesboro - Vincent Leroy Dowling died October 25, 2022, at age 100, following a brief illness. He retired in 1985 and they returned to Jonesboro, Maine where they became active in town affairs and the Jonesboro Union Church. He was Church Treasurer for 20 years and served as chairman of the building committee for the Community Center. Vincent was a member of the Warren #2 Masonic Lodge in East Machias. The family thanks all the folks at Marshall Healthcare for their compassionate care of Vincent and Evelyn in their final years.
