[14166] As received 5 July 2000: "My Gideon Snyder married Rebecca Kobel/Koble, and the children I know of are my g-g-grandfather, Edward K. (18 July 1855-11 May 1924) and Samuel (c. 1860-18 March 1919). My source for these two is the burial records of the Farrow Funeral Home in Shamokin. I believe my Gideon Snyder is the same as your Gideon Snyder, g-son of Johann Nicholas Schneider. I recently found your Gideon in the Howerter Church baptismal records, and will be looking for more about this family." - Becky Tuszynski (e-mail: becky@voicenet.com; voice: 215-538-9297)
