Mr. Hutchins was a member of Verona Grange and of the executive committee of the Katahdin Council, Boy Scouts of America. He had lived most of his life in Orland, but moved to Bar Harbor a year and a half ago. Surviving are his wife, Vera; one son, Robert of Brewer; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Palfrey of Portsmouth, N. H., snd Mrs. Edna Gilbert of Bar Harbor; one stepson, Everett Stewart of Winter Harbor; one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Stewart of Sullivan; one grandson, three stepgrandsons; one brother, Forrest L. Surviving are six sons, Cloyd E., Dale E., John E. and Blaine C., all of Blain RD 1, and Clyde E. and Lewis L., both of Blain; two daughters, Romaine F. Bender of Blain, and Rosalie M. of Blain RD 1; three sisters, Hulda Weibley of Liverpool, and Ruth Stine and Mae Carbaugh, both of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. John S. Kipp officiating. Burial will be in Blain Methodist Cemetery."
