He 'Owned Covenant' in Truro Church, 13 Dec. 1747, and Mary Newcomb 'Owned Covenant' in the same church 7 July 1745. Mr. Newcomb was taxed at Salem in 1753, but reutrned to Truro where he was admitted to church in 1756. In the valuation of Truro, 1770, he is put down, '2 polls, 1 house, 15 shillings.' [46180] Find A Grave memorial 165432258 provides his family and offers: "Oldest son of Philip Wehr and his wife Susanna Elizabeth Fuhr. Married by Reverend Johannes Heinrich Helffrich to Christina Miller on March 6, 1798 in Heidelberg township, now Lehigh county. Belonged to the German Reformed Church. As eldest son, Lorentz handled his father Philip Wehr's estate. There are details records in Northampton County Courthouse. Moved with his wife and young children from Heidelberg township, Northampton (now Lehigh) county, Pennsylvania after 1812. Settled in Derry township, now Montour county. Paid taxes in the township in 1815 but apparently died within the next 5 years, as his widow Christine is the head of the household of 8 people in the 1820 US Census in Derry township. Died in Montour county per the information provided in the widow's pension file of his daughter Sarah (Ware) Snyder. Location of grave is unknown. Three of his children are buried in Brights Cemetery, Mausdale, PA."
