[7639] John is son of Jacob Bushey (b. 6 Oct 1824, d. 22 March 1902 in Cass Twp., Richland Co., OH, buried in London Cemetery, Shelby, Richland Co.) and Elizabeth Fireoved (b. 11 Nov 1822, d. 3 Feb 1891 in Richland Co., OH, buried with Jacob) - the family history of the Busheys is found in "Briner Family History" (Harrisburg, PA: 1984), Appendix K. John was a cabinetmaker by profession, and several pieces of furniture made by him remained in the family. Some believe Bushey is an ancient Norman name that arrived in England after the Norman Conquest of 1066. The Bushey family lived at the parish of Bussey in Hereford - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bushey. The name, however, is a reference to the family's former place of residence, Bouce, in Orne, Normandy. Alternately, a file in Ancestry.com offers: "Bushey Name Meaning - English: habitational name from Bushey in Hertfordshire, so named with an Old English bysce or byxe box + hæg enclosure. Americanized spelling of French Boucher. Americanized spelling of German Büsche (see Busche) or Swiss German Büschi, a variant of Busch."

[58765] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 11 February 2025: "Medway - Lawrence 'Larry' E. Lee passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at Katahdin Health Care in Millinocket, with his wife; and daughter, Theresa, by his side, at the age of 81. Larry was born in Bangor and graduated from Bangor High School. After high school Larry went on to serve in the U.S. Army for one term before returning to Bangor to live and raise his family. Larry worked as a police officer before becoming a firefighter for the City of Bangor. Larry then went on to work in various other fields, mostly known for his time at Northeast Chrysler, the Bangor Mall and finally finishing his career at Acadia Hospital in Bangor. Larry was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Larry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda I. Lee, of Medway; his daughters, Theresa M. Lee Perry and her husband, Wesley, of Carmel, Heidi Jo Lee of Rockland, and Michelle E. Lee of Hermon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chad Thomas, Justin Thomas, Cameron Thomas, Tristan Thomas, Laken Thomas, Jordan Bragan, and Joshua Bragan; along 16 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Franklin J. Lee Sr. and Doris G. Crawford Lee, both of Bangor; his sister, Marilyn McGinnis of Brewer; and his brother, Franklin J. Lee Jr., also of Brewer. The family would like to thank Katahdin Health Care for the care provided to Larry in his final weeks. Also, a very special thank you to Corey Hannafin for the wonderful care he gave to Larry the last two years as his PSA. Corey and Larry shared a special bond and Corey became the son Larry never had."
