[5107] http://ross.sphosting.com/d0/i0003979.htm states that Emeline is daughter of Urso Arbitot but offers no proof or source. Also see the unverified information at http://www.geneajourney.com/bchmp1.html. The LDS Church's unverified Ancestral File (HPGT-87) states that Urso (b. ca. 1050) is son of Robert d'Arbetot (Abbetot) Despencer (son of Amaury Raoul d'Albetot), but there is an apparent contradiction in the birth dates. "Medieval English Ancestors of Certain Americans," Carl Boyer III (Santa Clarita, CA, 2001), p. 14, states she is "daughter of Urso, who was heir of brother Robert d'Abitot, who built Elmly Castle in Worcestershire, and was steward of William the Conqueror." - Boyer also states that Walter de Beauchamp and Emeline are parents of Emma who m. Ralph de Sudeley.
