The unverified Carpenter Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015 states "Elizabeth Berry was born on June 6, 1735, in Baltimore County, Maryland, the child of James and Grace. She married thomas mcqueen in 1756 in Baltimore County, Maryland. They had three children during their marriage. She died in 1780 in Mingo, Ohio, at the age of 45."

They are the parents of 10 children: Roman, Richard, Robert, Raphael and Gerald Friebel and Mrs. Daniel Cooper, all of Shelby; Mrs David Maier of Lebanon, Tenn.; Mrs. Michael Lake of Illinois, Brother John of Arizona, and Walter Friehel Jr. of Cleveland. There are 40 grandchildren and their great-grandchildren. Before retiring in 1964 Mr. Friebel was president of Friebel and Hartman, general contractors." Walter is son of Oswald F. Kritzman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Karr; sister, Mae E. White, and sister-in-law, Kathleen Dalton. Funeral services were held Friday, July 2, in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with the Rev. Margaret Passenger of Deford United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Novesta Township Cemetery."

An assistant superintendent for Stone & Webster Corp., Mr. MacPhee had lived here for the last 25 years. A native of Maine, he was a member of Windhorst Lodge 185 F. & A. M., Tennessee Consistory, and Egypt Temple Shrine. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Twila MacPhee, Tampa; one daughter, Mrs. Myra Kersey, Tampa; one brother, W. J. MacPhee, Troy, N. Y.; and a sister, Mrs. Edward A. Mathes, Portland, Maine." Norman and Twila adopted Myra Edith MacPhee, born in 1936 at Tampa, FL, married in 1953 to Warren William Kersey - both are deceased - their two children are Rhonda Kersey and Ted Kersey.

Catharine died May, 1831 in Upper Mahantongo (now Eldred) Twp., Berks (now Schuylkill) Co., PA, at age 40. He married Margaret (Peggy) Rebecca Kieffer August 28, 1831 in Upper Mahantongo (now Eldred) Twp., Berks (now Schuylkill) Co., PA. Margaret was born October 2, 1807 in Upper Mahantongo (now Eldred) Twp., Berks (now Schuylkill) Co., PA. Margaret was the daughter of Daniel Kieffer and Margaret Schmidt. Margaret died September 18, 1879 in Upper Mahantongo (now Eldred) Twp., Berks (now Schuylkill) Co., PA, at age 71. Waldner Gedcom shows Eldred Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA. Peggy applied for a veteran of the War of 1812 widow's pension in 1879.
He was baptized November 11, 1787 in Salisbury Twp., Northampton (now Lehigh) Co., PA. Jacob was employed after 1795, in Upper Mahantongo (now Eldred) Twp., Berks (now Schuylkill) Co., PA. Jacob served in the military September 1, 1814. Served, War of 1812, 2nd Regiment of the Pennsylvania Militia. Jacob applied for bounty land 1851- granted 40 acres. Jacob applied for bounty land 1855 - granted 120 acres.
He made a will November 17, 1857 Eldred Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA. To wife, Margaret Rebecca Kieffer Wolfgang- 3 beds, 2 cows, 2 sheep, room, clothing closet, clock, cabinet in room & drop leaf table. To daughter Catharine: has her share in land. To son Jacob D.: has his share in land but sold it to son Samuel. to son Samuel: to keep and follow the agreement made April 1, 1853. Moved to Upper Mahantongo Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA abt 1795. Became farmer, wagon maker, and wheelwright. Granted 40 acres in 1851 and 120 acres in 1855 as bounty for his service in the War of 1812. He was illiterate and signed his name with an X on all documents.
