Find A Grave memorial 146619725 offers: "Fred Deemer, died today January 15, 2003 after a short but acute illness at the Punxsutawney Hospital in Jefferson County PA. Fred was 69 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen. He is survived by 4 children and 4 grandchildren. He has four sisters and one brother yet living.
Fred was the son of Roy L. Deemer and Edith Belle (Geist) Deemer (later McKinley). Roy died in a fire in 1942. Fred's grandparents were Harry Geist and Carrie (nee Brosius). Fred lived and worked in Brookville PA his entire life until his retirement from Humphrey Charcoal just a few years ago. He was an avid deer hunter, and a die-hard Steelers fan. Fred loved Clint Eastwood movies. He could never get his fill of Dirty Harry, or the Pale Rider, or the Man with No Name."
