[30338] The federal census in 1850 and 1860 list him in Washington, DC.
[33347] Robert m. Anne Boleyn.
The unverified file in 2018 at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Owen-124 states John was b. 24 Dec 1622 in Wales and offers: "All definitive sources found (see Sources, below) indicate that John Owen's origins are unknown. This profile previously included Richard Owen and Johanna Pitt as his parents, but they have been removed, along with the birth location of Oswestry, Shropshire, England. At the present no further information about his parentage is known.
John Owen is first noted at Windsor, Connecticut in 1650 when he married Rebecca Wade, the daughter of Robert and Jemima Wade of Hartford. His birthplace is unknown, but it is believed that he was probably born in Wales. John and Rebecca had 11 children: Josiah, John, John, Nathaniel, Daniel, Joseph, Mary, Benjamin, Rebecca, Obadiah, and Isaac. John Owen died February 18, 1697/8 at the age of 76 and was buried in the Palisado Cemetery in Windsor. At his death it was said that he was 76 (suggesting a birth year of 1622), but town records say he was born December 25, 1624, so that in December 25, 1664 he was 40 years old. John Winthrop attended to John Owen in Windsor in 1666 and noted in his medical journal that John was about 40 years old. John Owen died 18 Feb 1698. An inventory valued at £29:01:00 was taken 5 April 1698 by Lt. Hayden and Benajah Holcomb. The Court Record (p. 22 5 April 1698) shows the inventory exhibited, contained only personal estate. It was given to the widow to be at her dispose, the children consenting."
[44178] Reuben and son Benjamin are in the 1790 federal census in Township 1 (Bucks), later Bucksport, Hancock Co., ME. The unverified file 9MHT-F43 in familysearch.org in 2022 states he and Olive m. in December, 1795 in Hardwick, Worcester Co., MA. Reuben and wife Olive are duplicated in this database.
