Eaton; sons and their wives, Brian J. and Bernadette Eaton of Kingston NH, Matthew W. and Michele Eaton of Brentwood NH, and Paul D. and Beth Eaton of Strafford NH; daughters Rhonda Wilson and husband John of Amherst NH and Melinda Leblanc of Exeter NH; 12 grandchildren; sisters Louise House of East Longmeadow MA and Dorothy Witham of York ME; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins."

[27566] Wilson is probably the person of this name listed in the "Special Schedule - Surviging Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines, and Widows, etc." for Fannett Twp. as having served as a Private in the 202nd PA Regiment for eleven months and three days in 1864-65 in the Union Army. He and his family are listed in the 1880 federal census in Fannett Twp. "The Chronicle [Shippensburg, PA], 24 September 1914," p. 1: "Wilson Piper, one of the oldest and most highly esteemed residents of Ambersons Valley, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. W. Culbertson, in Upper Ambersons Valley, on Saturday morning, of diseases incident to his age. He was aged 84 years. Mr. Piper was a member of the Presbyterian church and an ardent church worker during his active life, having served as superintendent of the Sunday School and filled many other offices in the church service. He was a veteran of the Civil war and one of Ambersons Valley's best citizens, loved and respected by all who knew him. His wife, who was Miss Annie E. Shearer, preceded him in death several years ago. He is survived by these children: Mrs. W. W. Culbertson, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. A. R. Culbertson, of Amberson's Valley; Mrs. Grace Crouse, of Canton, Ohio; and William Piper, of Doylesburg. The funeral was held from his late home Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock, the services being conducted by his pastor, Rev. D. I. Camp, of Spring Run, and interment was made in the Ambersons Valley cemetery."

Surviving are her loving husband of 61 years, Marshall Kinney; two sisters, Rose Bean of Topsfield, and Margaret Phelps of Waite; a brother, Edward & Charlotte Renaud of Eastport; sons, James and Sheila of Franklin, Eugene and Marilyn of Amherst, VA, Gary and Iva of Pembroke, Dana and Virginia of Summersville, SC, Dennis and Lorraine of Perry, Timothy and Lavada of Montoursville, PA, Terry and Dawn of Perry, Leroy and Karen of Auburn, MA, Gerry of Eddington, and Peter and Trinda of Sunrise, FL; daughters, Betty and Lewis Pottle of Gansevoort, NY, Marion and Brian Rice of Baileyville, Nancy and Skip Johnson of Perry, Deborah and Stan Brown of Livermore, and Linda and Don Niles of Oakland; 39 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren."
