Death resulted from pneumonia developing from influenza. Brother Cannon was a farmer and had lived in and near Lathrop for the last twelve years. He confessed Christ early in life and was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church in Winston, Missouri. He leaves to mourn his going his wife and six sons: Fred of Winfield, Iowa; Archie of Pomona, Calif.; Carl and Charley of Kansas City, Mo.; Clarence and Claude of Lathrop; and two daughters, Blanch Campbell, Harding, Mont.; and Ida Heichel, Smithshire, Ill., and many friends and acquaintances."
