The unverified file LDZ5-Y6J in familysearch.org offers: "The origins of Thomas Bourne of Plymouth and Marshfield, Massachusetts are unknown (Robert Charles Anderson, FASG [Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists], The Great Migration Directory: Immigrants to New England, 1620-1640; a Concise Compendium [Boston: New England Historical and Genealogical Society, 2015], 36).
For the best account of Thomas-1 Bourne and his descendants, see "The Bourne Family" chapter in Volume I of the Descendants of Robert Waterman of Marshfield, Massachusetts through seven generations, as compiled by Donald Lines Jacobus (Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists), starting at page 615.

Additions and corrections to Jacobus require citations to original records discovered after he published and/or peer-reviewed scholarly publications that followed him."
"Representative Men and Old Families of Southeastern Massachusetts," (Chicago: J. H. Beers & Co., 1912), Vol. 3, p. 1289: "The Bourne family of southeastern Massachusetts is descended from (I) Thomas Bourne, 'the eldest of the Marshfield settlers and a patriarch on its Eden,' who appears at Plymouth in 1637. a freeman of that Colony of Jan. 2, 1638. Judge Savage says he may probably have come from the County of Kent, bringing family. 'His home lands were situated adjoining the estates of his sons-in-law, Josiah Winslow, Sr., and Robert Waterman, to whom he gave of his own lands liberally.' He was also a large land holder in the south part of the Colony. 'He was a man of substance and repute.' His wife Elizabeth was buried July 18, 1660, aged seventy years. He was buried May 11, 1664, at the age of eighty-three years. His will, probated June 9, 1664, made his son John right heir and executor. . ." Cf. and "Clifton William Scott and Mildred Evelyn Bradford Scott of Ashfield, Mass., ancestors, descendants and New England heritage," Fred W. Scott (New York: IUniverse Inc., 2004) p. 258. Also see "Pioneers of Massachusetts - 1620-1650," Charles Henry Pope (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2013), p. 60. The unverified Nelson-Skallman Tree in Ancestry.com in 2016 offers: "Thomas Bourne was born in 1581 in Kent, the child of John. He married Elizabeth Bassendon on December 21, 1607, in Matlock, Derbyshire. . . . . He died on May 11, 1664, in Marshfield, Massachusetts, having lived a long life of 83 years, and was buried there. Elizabeth Bassendon was born in 1590 in Tenterden, Kent. . . . She died on July 18, 1660, in Marshfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 70, and was buried there."
