Betty enjoyed raising roses; however, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty is survived by her sons: Tom and Mary Ruckman of Bolivar, OH and Richard E. Ruckman of Willard, OH; 4 grandchildren: Melissa and Daniel Russell of Massillon, Tonya Ruckman of Canton, Adam Ruckman of Bolivar and Carey Miller of Shelby; 5 great grandchildren; a sister: Anna Mae Ebinger of Lorain, OH; a niece and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her father: Roland McBride; her mother: Elizabeth (Longley) Landis McBride; her husband: Frederick D. Ruckman in 1991; 4 sisters: Martha Lofland, Miriam Mosier and infant twin sisters, Janet and Jean McBride."
