She married William Moore in 1651 in her hometown. They had ten children in 15 years. She died in October 1693 in York, Maine, at the age of 62."
From: JoeWW305 (JoeWW305@aol.com), 5 Apr 1998: "Zaccheus Wellcome married Sarah Moore, daughter of William Moore and Dorothy Dixon. This realtionship is so stated in a book titled Genealogy of New Hampshire and Maine. Additionally, this marriage was recorded in New England marriages before 1700. Often the surname of "Wellcome" was spelled several ways. Additionally, independent genealogy books, one written by George Burbank and Oliver Willcomb, support this relationship with William Moore and Dorothy Dixon."

[3210] Aethelstan's sister married Sihtric, Danish King of Northumberland. Encyclopaedia Britannica ('56, 8:483): "...the most brilliant figure among Old English kings. He early expelled the Norse dynasty, then in possession of York, and brought the city and its dependent territory under his direct rule. Under him, relations between the king of Wessex and the Scandinavian nobility of the north and east became friendly, and numerous earls of Danish name can be traced at his court. He enforced real overlordship over the Welsh princes of his day, and made Cornwall an integral part of the West Saxon kingdom. Abroad, his reputation was great. His sisters were married to the chief continental rulers of his time - to Otto, king of the Germans, afterwards emperor, to Charles, king of the West Franks, the descendant of Charlemagne, and to Hugh, duke of the Franks, the ancestor of the house of Capet. From time to time he intervened in French affairs...[and] there is no reason to doubt the ancient tradition which sserts that Hakon, son of Harold Fairhair, the creator of the Norwegian kingdom, was brought up at Aethelsten's court. Not since Offa had there been a king who played so considerable a part in the eyes of men across the sea." He won "one of the greatest battles ever fought between an English and a Scandinavian host" (937). He established the rudiments of a 'civil service.'" http://www.stephen.j.murray.btinternet.co.uk/athelstan.htm reports "According to charter evidence, Athelstan's coronation, at Kingston upon Thames, did not take place until 4th September 925. . . . Athelstan was a great patron of Malmesbury Abbey, and would eventually be buried there. William quotes from a charter (still in existence, but generally agreed to be spurious) in which, Athelstan grants Alfred's lands to Malmesbury. In the charter, Athelstan, himself, purportedly claims that Alfred was involved in a plot 'to put out my eyes in the city of Winchester'. The plot was discovered, however, and Alfred was sent to Rome to put his case to the pope. The instant he had sworn an oath he collapsed, died three days later, and 'so all his property of every description was adjudged to be mine'. Athelstan's ready acceptance by the Mercian nobility gave him a greater degree of authority than his father had enjoyed." [27214] http://www.chadbourne.org/Gen4.htm states that Tabitha "died presumably before her husband's third marriage circa 1710; married as his second wife 10 Feb 1700 Rowland Jenkins, a fisherman of Dover. He had married first Experience Heard and married third before July 1710 Mary Morgrage (LND, 377). Rowland and Mary are thoroughly documented in MPC V:149-154 for a variety of trespasses, including stealing. The presentation of this family by Stackpole in his 'Old Kittery' is seriously flawed."
A file in Ancestry.com in 2014 offers: "Anthony Snow was first recorded 7 May 1638 when he requested three acres of land from the court. (Plymouth Court Records). Of Plymouth. Shortly after his marriage, he removed to Marshfield, where he became one of the leading citizens of the town; was surveyor of highways in 1651, constable 1652, representative to the General Court of Plymouth Colony in 1656 and twenty years following, selectman in 1668, and member of the Plymouth Council-of-War for Plymouth Colony in 1675. Some time before his death, he gave to the town a piece of land near the meeting house for a graveyard, where he was buried and which is still in use. His will, dated 28 December 1685, with codicil of 8 August 1692, named wife Abigail, and children. Inventory of his estate was taken 12 November 1692."

Another file in Ancestry.com in 2014 offers: "Abigail, when she married Anthony Snow of Plymouth, received as a marriage portion from her mother, 9 Jan 1639, a deed for her 'house situated, with the eight acres of land thereunto adjoining.' Shortly after marriage Mr. Snow removed to Marshfield, where he became one of the leading citizens of the town; was surveyor of highways in 1651, constable 1652, representative to the General Court of Plymouth Colony in 1656 and twenty years following, selectman in 1666 and afterwards several years, collector of the excise 3 June 1668, and member of the Plymouth Council-of-War for Plymouth colony in 1675, with codicil of 8 August 1692, named wife Abigail, and children . . . . Inventory of his estate taken 12 Nov 1692. Anthony Snow was one of the last Marshfield downtown settlers for whem Snow Road is named. He received one-half of the Thomas Prence grant in 1649. The parcel included a part of Cedar Grove Cemetery that Snow gave to the town and the swamp called 'Snow's Swamp' here much of the shopping and parking areas are today. It also included land along Ocean Street easterly as far as the Bourne grant (near Bourne Park Avenue). This flat land between the rivers were meadows and streams, wetlands, and swamps. Anthony Snow was a feltmaker by trade. He farmed and fished, served as a constable and a deputy to the court, contributed a barrel of beef toward the purchase of Bulkley's parsonage and served as one of the town's first selectmen on 5 April 1667. Many of the downtown Marshfield businesses today are built on land that belonged to Anthony Snow. Anthony Snow's will dated 8 Dec 1685 is in possession of the Connecticut Historical Society at Hartford. He is buried at the Winslow Cemetery in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, aka 'Old Winslow Burying Ground.' There is a large monument in this cemetery as well, on which appear the names of Anthony and his wife, Abigail. It is dedicated to early settlers of Green Harbor, Massachusetts."
