He was a retired foreman of the Shelby Gum Co., and a lifetime resident of the community. Survivors are wife, Fanny; nine daughters, Mrs. Lois Nye, and Misses Carol and Marilyn Hanlon, all of Tiro, Mrs. Gean Wallace and Mrs. Joann Bishop of Shelby, Mrs. Marjorie Rollins, Mrs. Winifred Bly and Mrs. Betty Brooks, all of Mansfield, anil Mrs. Lorena Baramore of Crestline: five sons, Leroy, Donald, Kenneth and Ronald, all at home, and Glenn Robert Hanlon; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Franklin of Mishawaka, Ind.; and six sisters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Weeks, Mrs. Edith Skimahorn, Mrs. Sarah Hennings, all in Indiana, Mrs. Dora Thompson of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Myrtle Miller of Mansfield, and Mrs. Nancy Wiseman in Florida. Services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday from the Dye Funeral Home at Shelby. The Rev. Ralph Kusserow, pastor of the Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church, Tiro, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Shelby."
