"The Akron Beacon Journal [Akron, Ohio], 4 February 1959," p. 3: "Coventry Twp. - Frank Edward Gougler, 79, a retired farmer, died Tuesday at his home, 844 Killian rd., after a long illness. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Methodist churcn. He leaves his wife, Myrtle; sons, Faik S. of Cuyahoga Falls and Dayton and Donald, both of Akron; daughters, Mrs. Fred Palmer, Rogersville, Tenn., Mrs. Marie Sloane of New Bedford, Mass., and Mrs. Byron McCrady of Akron; step-daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Nair of Lakemore and Mrs. Doris Rininger of Carrolton; sisters.
