[16479] Jean Mayo-Lakatos (see under Hannah's father) shared via email in June 2003: 1. Hannah Mayo2 (Rev. John1) was b.c. 1620, d/o Rev. John Mayo and Tamisen Brike. She m. Nathaniel Bacon Dec. 4, 1642 in Barnstable, MA. She d. after August, 1691. Hannah was still living when her son, Nathaniel, wrote his will in August of 1691. Nathaniel Bacon was b. 1613, s/o William Bacon of Stretton, Rutlandshire, England. Nathaniel came to New England in 1640. He d. before Oct. 29, 1673 in Barnstable, MA., the date of the inventory of his estate. He was an older cousin of the Nathaniel Bacon who led the Virginia Rebellion. Known children of Hannah Mayo2 and Nathaniel Bacon were: a. Hannah: b. Sept. 4, 1643; m. George Sheves Feb. 16, 1675. b. Nathaniel: b. Feb. 5, 1644/45; m. Sarah Hinckley. c. Mary: b. Aug. 12, 1648. d. Samuel: b. Feb. 25, 1649/50. e. Elizabeth: b. Jan. 28, 1652/53; d. 1676; never married. f. Jeremiah: b. May 8, 1657; m. Elizabeth Howes. g. Mercy: b. Feb. 28, 1658/59; m. John Otis. h. John: b. June 1, 1661; m. Mary Hawes; m. Sarah Doty.

Sir Henry, of St. Donats Castle, Knight, was heir of his father. He was knighted at the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem in 1477 and died soon after at Famagusta, Cyprus.
