The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines records that Erard de Brienne captured the castle of Joinville from Simon in early 1216. Schwalm, Spring Glen; Mrs. Charles Kieffer, Hegins; Mrs. Lester Gutshall, Harrisburg; Mrs. William Schrawder, Spring Glen; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Reed, Elizabethville."
