Alcorn, of Ringgold, died Wednesday, May 29, 1916, at his home at the age of seventy-four years, three months and twenty-seven days. Born near Coolspring February 2, 1872, he was a son of Andrew and Mary (Reed) Alcorn. He was united in marriage to Miss Maggie Geist, March 19, 1903. He was a member of the Ringgold Methodist church. Surviving are his wife and the following children: Vernon, of Sigel; Roy, of Worthville; Harry, of Ringgold; Frank, of Fairmount City, and Mrs. Mary Neese, at home. One sister, Mrs. Bess Hannah, of Sprankle Mills, and eighteen grandchildren also survive." The LDS IGI file (not verified) reports that Jeremiah is son of Andrew Alcorn (1835-1923) and Mary Jane Reed (1834-1921, m. 1856).

[42641] His marriage record states Homer is a clerk and is son of John F. Barnhart and Agnes Witmer all of them b. in Millersburg, Dauphin Co., PA. The 1910 federal census in Millersburg lists Homer, age 16, as an assembler in a shoe factory. In the 1920 federal census in Millersburg his wife is Catherine and he is employed in a shoe factory. In the 1930 federal census in Millersburg he is widowed and remains employed in a shoe factory. Homer's draft registration 27 April 1942 lists his employment as in a restaurant on Market St. in Millersburg owned by Earl G. Barnhart. His first wife, Catharine Anne Brown (1890-1930), is buried with him. "Lykens Register [Lykens, Pennsylvania], 21 December 1967," p. 17: "Homer D. Barnhart, 74, of 439 Union St, Millersburg, died on Sunday at his home. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Millersburg. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary M. Barnhart; two daughters, Mrs. Harold DeVeny and Mrs. Warren Sultzbaugh, both of Millersburg; two sisters, Mrs. H. Richter and Mrs. Harry Ditty, both of Millersburg; two brothers, G. Earl Barnhart of Elizabethville, and Albert W. Barnhart of Philadelphia; and four grandchildren."

[56019] Stanley's obituary: "Stanley H. White, 80, husband of Jerri (Gonyer) White, passed unexpectedly Dec. 19, 2022 in Bangor. He was born July 1, 1942 in Bangor, the son of Jerry H. and Marion L. (Stanley) White. Stanley was a lifelong resident of Brewer and he and his wife owned and operated Enchanted Gardens & Greenhouse in Brewer for many years. He was active in his community having served on the Brewer City Council, he was a longtime active member of Brewer Kiwanis and was a member and Past Master with Rising Virtue Lodge, Bangor. Stanley also volunteered at Furry Friends Food Bank in Brewer and also at Curran Homestead in Orrington. Surviving in addition to his wife of 58 years of Brewer are his daughter, Marian Jerome and her husband, Paul and his granddaughter, Brianna Jerome all of Brewer. He will be remembered by close friends, Irv Marsters of Bangor and Bob Sparks of Holden."
