[2550] W.H.Turton, "The Plantagenet Ancestry" (Balt.: Gen.Pub.Co., 1968), p.80, gives Richard as second child of Theodore d'Auton (d. 879; son of Childebrande, 1st Count of Autun, and wife Dyname____). http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~cousin/html/p78.htm states: "He was the son of Balduin, Graf von Metz and Richardis von Arles. Count of Autun between 876 and 921. He married Adelheid von Auxerre, daughter of Konrad II, Graf von Auxerre and Waldrada des Etichonen, before 888. Duke of Burgundy between 900 and 921. He was was the Burgundian opponent of the Capets (the royal family) before 921. He died on 1 September 921 in Auxerre, Yonne, Burgundy, France. Richard I "der Gerichtsherr", Graf von Autun, Herzog von Burgund was buried in Ste-Colombe les Sens."
[48262] Judith is daughter of Barnabas Doyle (1754-1797) & Mary Catherine McElhenny (1752-1833). She and John had John D, Skinner (1814-1864), Mary A, Skinner McElheney (1816-1877) & David James Skinner (1822-1894). For the history of Doylesburg see http://thedoylefamily.weebly.com/story-of-doylesburg.html which includes this: "On January 11th 1779 Felix Doyle deeded his land over to his son Barnabas Doyle. Barnabas Doyle served during the American Revolutionary War as a private from 1779 to 1781 in the 6th class of Captain Thomas Askey's Company of the First Battalion of Cumberland County. After the War, Barnabas returned back to the Doylestown area and farmed the land. Barnabas's will, dated October 26th 1797, states that his will was not to be settled until his youngest child reached maturity, then the remainder of his estate was to be equally divided between his children."
