The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vinton L. Beal of Beals, Maine, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Ellouise Beal and the late Lyman Beal of Jonesport, Maine. The bride, dressed in blue silk with veil and accessories to match and carrying a white Bible with an orchid, was escorted down the aisle by Thomas Snelson of Lexington. Miss Judith McKeon was maid of honor. She wore a blue and white linen dress with white accessories and a puff bouquet. Paul Mosco of Lexington was best man and the ushers were the bridegroom's cousin, David J. Dakin of Woburn and Rickard McKeon of Lexington. A reception was held at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Marjorie McKeon, 582 Massachusetts Avenue. Mrs. David Dakin was in charge of the guest book. The bridegroom is a graduate of Jonesport High School and has served three years in the army. The bride is a graduate of Beals High School and Bay State Academy, Boston, Mass. After a wedding trip the couple will reside at Limestone Air Force Base."

m. to Sarah Van Sintern (sister to Magdalena, Martin's wife) in the year 17 10, May 2d, in the old log Mennonite Church, at Germantown, in presence of the full congregation. Dirk Keyser officiating. An obituary notice of him says : " On the 4th instant, October, 1739, Jacob Kolb, of Skippack. As he was pressing cider the beam of the press fell on one side of his head and shoulder and wounded him so that he languished about half an hour and then died, to the exceeding grief of his relatives and family, who are numerous, and concern of his friends and neighbors, among whom he lived many years in great esteem." Aged 54 years. He was also a trustee, in connection with his brother, Martin, of Skippack Mennonite congregation as early as 1717, where he had moved in 1709. "

Sandra was born in Lincoln, Maine, on Sept. 2, 1938, to Pearle (Coffin) McCormick and Lester McCormick. She was the youngest of seven: Clifton, Dale, Nick and Norman McCormick, Priscilla Collier, and Laurel McFalls. Her childhood in Lincoln was filled with happy activity and the making of lifelong friendships. She loved music, the nearby lakes, her Girl Scout troop, babysitting, and going to movies and dances. Sandra married Ronald Wayne Libby of Lincoln in 1956 and graduated from Mattanawcook Academy that same year. The newlyweds lived in Connecticut until 1963, and settled in Sorrento in 1965, where they lived for the rest of their lives. Ron died there after a career with the Maine State Police and a happy retirement."

Bessie was born in Milbridge on Aug. 3, 1935, to Mary (Beal) and Russell Pinkham. She was schooled at Milbridge Elementary School and eventually received her G.E.D from Sumner High School. After school, Bessie married Richard A. Snyder and together they had three children. She was a homemaker and spent time raising her children and helping out in her husbands fiberglass boat company, Reinforced Plastics Company. Her spare time was spent playing Bingo, which she loved, and going to the Casino. She also enjoyed many luncheons and events at the Seacoast Mission in Cherryfield, as well as being a regular at the Senior Group Seacoast Mission Game Day. Bessie was predeceased by her parents as well as her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons, Richard Snyder, Jr., and Wayne Snyder; daughter, Janet Hankins; granddaughter, Marilyn Leighton and husband, Scott; nieces, nephews, and cousins."
