Joyce enjoyed camping with her friends in her early days, as well as gardening, knitting and reading in her spare time. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Brown; brother, Arthur Patterson; and sister, Rita Patterson. She is survived by her bother, Vernon Patterson and wife, Judy; daughter, Kathlyn Worzel; son Richard Brown and wife, Jeanie; and two grandsons, Michael Brown and Darren Brown."
