[31126] "The Pittsburgh Press, 2 March 1927," p. 2: "Levi Harris, aged 77, of 4794 Cypress st., died in his home today after a short illness. He resided in Pittsburgh for the last 50 years, coming to this city from Klttanning. He is survived by two sons, William H. and Rev. A. C. Harris; five daughters, Mrs. Anna Clark, Mrs. Edna Rentsch, Mrs. Clara Caldwell, and Julia and Mary Harris." Levi is son of Henry William Harris and Pauline Price. Ancestry.com offers: "Harris Name Meaning - English and Welsh (very common in southern England and South Wales): patronymic from the medieval English personal name Harry, pet form of Henry. This name is also well established in Ireland, taken there principally during the Plantation of Ulster. In some cases, particularly in families coming from County Mayo, both Harris and Harrison can be Anglicized forms of Gaelic Ó hEarchadha."
