[20682] This line is from L. David Roper, 1001 Auburn Dr. SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060-8123, Professor Emeritus of Physics at VPI & SU (roperld@vt.edu) in 1998. William and Emma also had Robert Lee, William Clarence, Grover Cleveland and Earl. Find A Grave Memorial 7316327 offers: "W J Blackwell, one of the best known citizens of the eastern part of the county, was found dead in bed at his home at Appleton November 21. He was 77 years old and was active for his age, having been in Russellville but a short time before his death, which was attributed to heart failure. He was a man of good education and was well informed, having served in the Arkansas legislature from Monroe County in 1897 and serving as county examiner in the same county. He came to Pope county from Monroe and it was the good fortune of the editor to know him intimately and be favored by visits from him when he came to Russellville. He was a Confederate veteran, a life long member of the Baptist church, and a man who stood in the high esteem of those who knew him."

Also see http://rootcellar.us/glenn.htm which states: "John de le Glen (mentioned above, who inherited the lordship in 1292), had a son named Robert de Glen. Robert de Glen married Margaret, illegitimate daughter of Robert 'The Bruce,' the great Scottish king of the 12th century, so all of the Glens of this family are descendants of Robert Bruce. A tradition traceable for four centuries insists that Robert de Glen was one of those who accompanied the heart of Bruce to the Holy Land. Moreover, the Glens of Bar possessed the sword of Bruce, which a descendant carried in 1606 to Ireland, where it was seen a few years since. The inscription on the blade leaves no doubt as to its original ownership.
Robert de Glen, who married Margaret Bruce, also entered the Church, becoming Rector of Liberton in Lanarkshire. His son William de Glen inherited the lordship and rebuilt the castle of Bar. William's son Robert Glen was a companion in arms of Sir Unfridi Cunynghame (Cunningham) of Glengarnock, and was with him at Perth in 1494. Robert Glen died in 1506 and was succeeded by James Glen I. James and his kinsmen were at the battle of Flodden Field in 1513. In 1517 he was captain of a company of 102 footmen in the service of the Crown. He was appointed a Justice in 1543 but died in 1544 (having been killed, supposedly, at the battle of Ancrum) and was succeeded by his son James Glen II."
[58268] Priscilla is said to be daughter of John Hamlin (164-1717) & Sarah Bearse (1646-1712; m. in August, 1667 in Barnstable Co., MA).
[41674] The unverified Sandy Mitchel Family Tree in 2016 in Ancestry.com offers: "Johannes Mitchell was born in 1580 in Penistone, Yorkshire, the child of his mother. He married Ann Whitley on November 30, 1601, in Penistone, Yorkshire. They had 10 children in 17 years. . . "
[52274] "The Sentinel, 25 July 1960": "Harry D. Shuman, RD1, Loysville, was found dead near his home. He was 53 years old. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Delphia R. Shuman; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Radle and Mrs. Elmer Rice, both of Harrisburg; a son, Harry E., Blain; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob S.
