[16417] Information on this couple is not verified - see note under son John Andrew Tressler. Marriage register at Jagsthausen states "Johann Andreas Dressler, smith, legitimate son of Johann Jacob Dressler, citizen and smith here, and Anna Barbara, legitimate daughter left by deceased Bartholomaus Bernhardt, former farmer at Beinberg, District Liebenzell, Duchy of Wurtemberg; bans published on 9th, 10th, 11th Sundays after Trinity, and married on Sept. 10, 1737." Resided at Grimsville, Berks Co., PA. [An unverified posting in One World Tree on Ancestry.com in 2006 offers an unlikely death date for Johann Andreas - 2 Oct 1828 in Loysville.]
[2768] Ancestry.com offers: "Fleming Name Meaning - English: ethnic name for someone from Flanders. In the Middle Ages there was considerable commercial intercourse between England and the Netherlands, particularly in the wool trade, and many Flemish weavers and dyers settled in England. The word reflects a Norman French form of Old French flamenc, from the stem flam- + the Germanic suffix -ing. The surname is also common in south and east Scotland and in Ireland, where it is sometimes found in the Gaelicized form Pléimeann."

Susie grew up riding horses. She spent many summers working in the hayfield with her family. She worked at the Bagaduce Lunch. She cleaned houses for a living and built long lasting friendships with those that she worked for. She was known to babysit half the neighborhood's children. She liked a good yard sale. You'd drive by sign and she'd ask, 'Does it look like anything good to turn around for?' She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends hosting cookouts with a kettle of steamed clams and lobsters. Many weekends were spent playing Rummy, 31, and Dice 1000, or going to karaoke. She enjoyed going out on the boat to different islands. She was an avid reader and enjoyed a good book, and a hot cup of black tea. During the summer you would find her outside mowing the lawn or riding her side by side through local trails and going down the sunrise trail. Susie endured many challenges in her life but she was always a fighter until the end."
