[5975] Beside Thomas, he had John and Hannah (who m. Peter Branch & moved by 1684 to Preston, Conn.). Thomas was born in Swanton Morley, co. Norfolk, and one source states he died in October, 1683 at Taunton, Mass. Four Thomas Lincolns came to the colony, distinguished by their occupations - the others were Thomas the husbandman, Thomas the cooper and Thomas the weaver. Thomas married (2) Elizabeth (Andrews)(Harvey), the widow of Francis Street). Thomas the miller was related to Samuel and to Thomas the husbandman, as Robert Lincoln and Margaret Alberye were their greatgrandparents per Howard Walden on Prodigy, 24-Mar-1992. Torrey's "New England Marriages Prior to 1700" states that Thomas married (1) in England Elizabeth________. Ref. "History of the Town of Hingham, Mass." (Vol. III). Thomas "the weaver" was b. before 1600 and died in 1675 without issue; he is son of Edward - see "The Ancestry of Abraham Lincoln," by Lea and Hutchinson (1909). Cf. "Pioneers of Massachusetts - 1620-1650," Charles Henry Pope (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2013), p. 286. For this line also see "The Lincoln Family and Branches" of Wareham, Mass., compiled by James Minor Lincoln (1899).
