[51411] See the unverified file KLBK-HZC in familysearch.org. "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 6 April 1938, p. 5: "Tremont, April 5 - Capt. Fred H. Closson, 74 who died at his home here, was born in Bluehill, the son of Capt. and Mrs. George Closson. He went to sea at an early age and made many voyages to South American ports and the West Indies. Later he was captain of his own vessel and sailed out of Ellsworth for many years, carrying lumber to New York. After the coasting trade passed he was captain of a lobster smack sailing from Rockland for Thorndike & Hicks. For the past fifteen years he has been with the William Underwood Co. at McKinley. He was obliged to retire in June of 1936 because of falling health. In 1888 he married Mavilla H. Woodbury of Surry who survives him. For some years their home was in Bluehill, moving to Tremont in 1900. Captain Closson leaves seven sons and daughters, 26 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, also two brothers, Capt. John F. Closson of Tremont and Capt. Charles L. Closson of Manset."
[12112] She is identified by http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~lawrpaul (not verified; 2003) which states she is daughter of Garnier of Troyes (b. ca 868, d. 6 Dec 925) and Teuberga of Arles, daughter of Theobald of Arles and Bertha of Lorraine. Garnier was slain in battle with the Normans on 6 December 925. Garnier of Troyes was also known as Warinus, Werner; he is son of Richard of Autunois (son of Thierry I of Autunois 'the Treasurer', Count of the Autunois & Chaumois, Chamberlain of Charles 'the Bald.') http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troyes offers: "Troyes is a commune, the préfecture (capital) of the north-eastern Aube département in France and is located on the Seine river. It is around 150 km (93 mi) south-east of Paris." Troyes is the ancient capital of Champagne and the main town in the southern part of the province.
