[20430] "The News [Frederick, Maryland], 6 February 1952," p. 4: "Mrs. Mary C. Bright, wife of Rev. Edwin D. Bright, died at at her home in Thurmont at four o clock this morning after a lengthy illness. She was aged 79 years 28 days. Born in Pleasant Unity, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. William L. Chambers. She had resided in Thurmont the past 21 years where her husband, who retired, several years ago had been pastor of Trinity Reformed church there. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Dr William Chambers Bright, Los Alamos, N. M., a daughter, Mrs. Mary Eleanor Davis, Alexandria, Va., and one brother, William M Chambers, Thurmont. In addition, two grandchildren survive. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after four o clock Thursday afternoon. Services will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock with her pastor, Rev. Edouard Taylor, officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge cemetery, Thurmont."
