Mr. Perkins, although not in his usual health, attended business affairs that day and his instant death in early evening came as a great shock. Born in Alexander, Oct. 4, 1882. the son of the late Albion and Rhoda Perkins, he spent his early life there, coming to Woodland in 1909. He had been an employee of the St. Croix Paper company since that time. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Lawrence of Providence, R.I., Lee, Clifton and Daniel of Woodland; five daughters, Mrs. Roe Fickett (Lena) and Joyce Marie of Woodland.
