Her birth date range is estimated from her having given birth to her first child in early 1106, and bearing in mind her husband's birth date. Her marriage was arranged as part of the transactions by which Hungary acquired further possessions along the Dalmatian coast from Byzantium. She adopted the name Eirene in Byzantium. She became a nun as Xena and was canonised by the Greek Orthodox church. Her children included at least one set of twins. m ([1104/05]) Ioannes Komnenos co-Emperor of Byzantium, son of Alexios I Emperor of Byzantium & his wife Eirene Dukaina (1088-8 Apr 1143). [58195] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 22 September 2021: "Hancock - On September 21, 2021, Bing passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. Bing was born on January 31, 1937, the fourth of nine children to Harry and Lessie Lounder. Bing grew up on Hancock Point and continued to live there with his wife, Lillian, when they married in 1958. Bing began his career at Cowell Diesel as a heavy equipment mechanic. He spent many years working for the company and created bonds that lasted a lifetime. Starting in 1981 Bing went into business on his own and would continue to work out of his home garage for many years. Through all of his endeavors, Bing would find that his true passion came in the form of a school bus driver for the Hancock School Department and RSU 24. He drove for many years and always loved the role of transporting the Sumner High School sports teams. He could often be found spectating from the sidelines. Bing also made a difference in his small community by serving as fire chief in the 1980s, becoming road commissioner and participating as an active member of the school board. Being named Hancock's Citizen of the Year in 2014, was a celebrated accomplishment that made he and his family so very proud. Bing and Lillian, with their family, shared a love of camping and were able to enjoy beautiful places, such as Tunk Lake and various spots in New Hampshire and Canada. However, they truly found their second home at Branch Lake Campground, where they would spend over 40 summers with their growing family. Friendships made during this time would prove to be long lasting and unforgettable. Bing was an active member and past master of the David A. Hooper Lodge #201. He was also a 61-year member and past worthy patron of Irene Chapter #97 in Ellsworth. Bing was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Sheila; his brothers, Arthur 'Tookie' Page and Harry Lounder; nephew, Nick Lounder; and nieces, Betty Sprague and Lisa Jean Lounder. Bing is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lillian; their three children, Andrew Jr. and his wife, Wanda, Diane Simmons, and Sally Stanley and fiancé, JR Bridges; nine grandchildren, Brandy and Scott Cleaves, Ashley and Justin Orcutt, Alissa Stanley and fiancé, Derek LeConte, Hollie Stanley and Patrick Allen, Sarah Stanley and James Settpane Jr., Heather Barnes, Brandy Stanley, Alexander Simmons and Karley Black and Jessika Bridges; and seven great-grandchildren, Lilly Hall, Wyatt Cleaves, Amy, Emily, and Timothy Orcutt, Conrad LeConte and Donald Simmons. He will also be missed by his siblings, Ernest, Helen, Gertrude, Edith, Nancy and Pam, along with their families; sisters-in-law, Amelia Page and Annabelle Lounder; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and countless close friends, including Betty and Kerry."

He married Elizabeth Clark about 1636 at Hartford, Conn. His home lot in Hartford was in the east side of the road to the Cow Pasture. He was named in the will of the Sachem, Uncas, and received a grant of Indian land near Hebron as well as the entire estate of James Ellis of Saybrook, whom Lt. Pratt took care of prior to the death of Mr. Ellis. In 1645, he removed to Saybrook. He was commissioned to a lieutenant in 1661 and a deputy for Saybrook to Hartford from 1666 to 1676. The exact date of his death is unknown, but it was between May, 1678 when he attended the General Court and Feb. 20, 1679 when his son, William, was married and called son of Lt. William Pratt, dec'd. The children of William & Elizabeth Pratt: Elizabeth (Pratt) Backus, m. William Backus; John Pratt b. Feb. 23, 1644/5, m. Sarah Jones; Joseph Pratt m. Willis, 84, a longtime resident of Castine, passed away peacefully at home, among loved ones, on July 7, 2022. Born on February 11, 1938, in Bucksport, he was the son of Harold and Nellie Willis and attended Bucksport High School, where he excelled in cross-country and track, a result of his running the roads along Silver Lake and his home area of Millvale. Graduating in 1956, he would later meet and marry the love of his life, Barbara Farnham of Penobscot. Together, they would successfully raise two sons, Peter and Dana; gain daughters-in-law, Kathy and Cyndy; and welcome their three grandchildren, Hannah, Justin, and Jocelyn. Carleton's working life was rich and varied, including mill work at St. Regis Paper in Bucksport, caretaker at Lorelei Farm in Castine, construction for Devereaux Marine in Penobscot, and harvesting and hauling pulpwood for himself and various contractors. Most often, however, he could be found behind the wheel of a truck or some other piece of machinery, whether in partnership with son, Dana or for Jamie Gross of Penobscot, for whom he provided twenty years of service. In every circumstance, he could be relied on to produce a good and honest day's work. When not working, he was a fan of auto racing, especially stock cars, which he enjoyed both on television and at live events. He read widely and well, his home library well-stocked with westerns, adventures of all types, and animal stories. He was especially fond of dogs, and would bring a pocketful of treats everywhere he went in the event of meeting an old friend or making a new one. Above all, Carleton's greatest joy came from family, centered on the great love of his life. Over six decades and more of their marriage, he and Barbara would truly live their vows through a lifetime of not only caring about one another, but talking care of one another. Together, they would bring that love and support to their sons and daughters-in-law, and especially so to their grandchildren, attending performances, games, and graduations, and helping out on many a project. Their achievements and the love they returned will forever be a part of 'Grampa's' legacy. Carleton is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Willis of Castine; son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Kathy Willis of Hooksett, NH; son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Cyndy Willis of Penobscot; grandchildren, Hannah Dailey and husband TJ Dailey of Manchester, NH, Justin Willis of Bangor; and Jocelyn Willis of Penobscot; sister, Irene Clark of Bedford, NH; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends throughout his life who welcomed his good nature and sense of humor."
