She was born August 3, 1949, in Milo, the daughter of Willis C. and Roberta E. (Herbest) Gerrish. Cheryl will be remembered by her family as a feisty woman who loved shopping, crafting, knitting, and quilting. They will miss her great cooking, especially her yeast rolls and blueberry muffins. She was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Milo. Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Russell and Crystal Grant and her husband, Chad; four grandchildren, Bradley Brown, Cooper Brown, Macee Grant and her significant other, Chris Morton, and Mylee Grant; great-grandson, Reece Brown; two sisters, Cathy Ames and Teresa Goodine and her husband, Norman; special nephew, Jason Gerrish; and several other nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her loving husband, Carroll Russell, she was predeceased by her parents; and her son-in-law, Danny Brown."
