[57003] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 22 February 2022: "Brooklin - Prin Albert Allen Jr., 91 years young, passed away on February 18, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home in Brooklin, Maine. Prin was born on July 22, 1930, the youngest of four children of the late Prin Albert Allen Sr. and Ruth (Babson) Allen. Prin married the love of his life, Joan (Williams) Allen in 1951, and after two years of service in the Army during the Korean War in Germany, they returned to Brooklin to take over his father's construction company and raise their family. Prin loved building, imparting his famous words of wisdom, and supporting his community. Prin is survived by Michael and Janeanne Allen Sr. of Brooklin, Mark and Lauri Allen of Maryland, Susanne and Michael Strout, Prin A. Allen III, and Matthew and Tania Allen, all from Brooklin. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law, Gloria (Williams) Hart and her husband, Wes, of Holden. Prin was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; his infant daughter, Constance Joan in 1961; and his siblings. Private graveside service will be held in the spring. "

(Joe) Ginn, 58, of Marshfield, ME, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on December 23, 2014. He was surrounded not only by his family but many, many friends. Joe was born in Jonesport on January 17, 1956. Joe spent many years harvesting wood, he then made a decision to become a heavy equipment mechanic for Hanscom Construction, where he worked for many years. In 1999, he started his own business 'Joe's Tool Box' where he serviced trucks and equipment for anyone who needed the help. Joe has been a member of Marshfield and Machias fire departments for 38 years. Joe is survived by his mother, Margaret Ginn of Steuben, his wife of 40 years, Karen J (Farnham) Ginn of Marshfield, two sons, Joseph R Ginn and wife, Stacy of Mars Hill, David K Ginn of East Machias. Two grandsons Maximus Ginn of East Machias and Colby Flagg of Steuben. Three brothers Austin and wife Tammy of Calais, Robert and wife Faith of Steuben, Mark and wife Kathy of Eastbrook. One sister Teresa Ginn of Steuben, one sister-in-law Nancy Ginn of Steuben. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Walter W. Ginn, grandparents W. Lee Holland and Doris Holland all of Steuben."
