[61777] Lewis' obituary, courtesy of the Brownville Historical Society: "L. Everett Gerrish,Sr., passed away at the Mount Desert Island Hospital, after a brief battle with Alzheimer's. He was born in Brownville, July 24,1917, the son of Lewis E. and Christine (Cobb) Gerrish. He was a graduate of Brownville High School, Class of 1934. In Brownville, he worked for John Lewis Industries and the Canadian Pacific Railways. He was elected several years to the Board of Selectmen and was appointed the first town manager of Brownville. he was a Past Master of the Resolute Grange No. 188, a Past Master of Pleasant River Lodge AF & AM No. 163, Soutmaster of Troop No. 111 and Troop Committeeman. He was a member of the Brownville Community Church. In 1946, he was appointed town manager of Dexter. While there, he was President of the Dexter Lions Club. Ater the 'Fire of 47', he was appointed the first town manager of Bar Harbor, when the town changed to the manager form of government. He was very much responsible for guiding the town in the transition from a summer colony to a tourist-oriented economy. During the promotion of the Bluenose Ferry project, he acted as liaison for more than two dozen American and Canadian agencies. Prior to the start of service, he resigned as Town Manager and was appointed first port agent by the Canadian National Railways. After seven years as port agent, he resigned and purchased the Mount Desert island and Motel and Cottages (now Eden Village). He took the position as town manager of Greenville for two years and was active in the Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis Club. He returned to Bar Harobr in 1967 after purchasing the Holiday Motel in Hulls Cove(now Gerrish Chiropractic Center). While in Bar Harbor, he was President of the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Bar Harbor Cottage Owners Association, President of the Maine Town and City managers Association, Chairman of the Town Warrant Committee, Chairman of the Board of Assessors, a member of the State Board of Education and Troop Committeeman of the Boy Scouts. Other fraternal and social organizations to which he belonged were the Dexter I.O.O.F., Eastern Star, Rabboni Chapter, Blanquefort Commandery, Anah Temple Shrine, Kebo Valley Country Club and the Clearwater Country Club in Florida. He was predeceased by his first wife, Kathleen (Fearon) Gerrish, and 1979. He is survived by a second wife, Nellie (Cunningham) Gerrish, his son, Lewis E. (Sonny) Gerrish, Jr.; two grandsons, Lewis E. Gerrish III, and his wife, Debbie and Gerald Matthew Gerrish, D.C. and his wife, Andrea, and his great-granddaughter, Rebecca Joy Gerrish."

"Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 7 November 2021": "Bangor - Nina J. Stormann, 86, passed away peacefully November 3, 2021, at a local hospital. She was born July 26, 1935, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Walter L. and Helen C. (Perkins) Smart.
Nina grew up in Orono. After a chance encounter at a local roller rink with Merton Stormann, they soon married. They raised a family in Bangor and celebrated sixty years of marriage. Nina enjoyed roller skating, dancing, knitting, crafting, and nights out with Merton.
Nina is survived by her daughters, Wanda Parker and her husband, Michael, of Old Town, and Cindy Hubbard and her husband, Rick Genovese, of Exeter; granddaughter, Candace Skillin and her husband, Donald, of Bucksport; great-granddaughter, Autumn; a special grandnephew, Forrest Mulheron; and many other nieces, nephews, and family members."
