[58420] Sherrill is daughter of Lester Watson Nowell (1912-1983) & Theo Wiggin (1920-1986; m. 16 November 1935 in ME). "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 29 October 2011: "Levant - Sherrill Mina (Nowell) Libby, 74, wife of the late Vernon B. Libby Jr., died unexpectedly Oct. 27, 2011, in Bangor. She was born Feb. 11, 1937, in Levant, daughter of Watson and Theo (Wiggin) Nowell. Sherrill was a homemaker, a job she took very seriously from mending socks to always having a meal ready. She loved to sew and cook, and loved the time spent with her sister, Anne, quilting. After raising her children, Sherrill had a baking business she ran out of her home. She also catered meals, much to the delight of people she invited to her home, and her family will especially miss the breads and cookies she always brought while visiting. Sherrill loved to read and always had one or two books going and she also enjoyed her volunteering at Levant Heritage Library. Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Steven and Rhonda Libby and Brian and Gayle Libby; one daughter, Kimberly Dunton; six grandchildren and their spouses, Amanda and Travis Dandro, Justin Libby and Max Ward, Ashlee and Ryan Lynch, Angie and Eion Pelletier, Bradley and Denise Libby and Rachel and Durwin Goode; 11 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Wyeth and Miles Dandro, Feleke, Isabella and Reuben Lynch, Collin and Andrew Pelletier, Addison Libby and Shirley and Joey Goode; a sister, Anne and Jimmy Freeman; many nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Betty Arnold; and a good friend and neighbor, Rodney McLaughlin. In addition to her husband, Vern, she was predeceased by a brother, Leland."

See http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Béranger_de_Bayeux for a discussion of his place in the genealogy - he seems to be the same person as Pepin de Senlis de Valois in this database!
