Survivors include two sons, Charles F. Whitcomb Jr., San Diego, Calif., and Adrian H. Whitcomb, Newport News, Va.; two brothers, William Whitcomb, Los Angeles, and Walter R . Whitcomb, Umatilla; one sister, Mrs. Nell W. Hazelrigg, Umatilla, and six grandchildren."
