He was employed at the Knox Woolen Company for many years retiring in 1967. He was a member of the Rockport Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Alice S. Marston, Rockport; three sons, Ralph E. Marston and Kenneth E. Marston, both of Camden, Maurice A. Marston, Dover, Delaware; two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Phillips, New Gloucester, Maine, Mrs. Helen Chater, Camden; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren."
